Are you thinking of selling your cars because of the soaring price of gasoline?

Few of my friends are thinking of just selling their cars because of the frequent gas price hike that seems to be uncontrollable. However, I believe I would still be needing a car because I have been used to it and can't imagine my life without a car. It would be very very hard really to adjust. How about you, have you thought of the same idea... that of selling your car, or you will still keep it and just minimize its use.

I've thought about it myself. At the moment, I'm still paying off my loan for my 2005 car. I probably wouldn't sell it for several years unless gas got closer to $5 or $6. (It's at about $3.95 where I live.) Whenever I sell it, I will definitely trade it for a hybrid vehicle. Until then, I've been cutting back on driving by making half as many grocery trips and buying twice as many groceries each time.
