Cake goes best with what drink?

Some like to eat their cakes with coffee. Some with cold beverages, others with tea. Which drink do you think goes best with a slice of cake?

It depends on the flavor of the cake, like coffee goes well plain tasting cakes for instance vanilla or carrot; tea goes well with richly-flavored cakes like chocolate or blackforest. Well, this is my preference.

I think coffee and milk are good choices to be with a piece of cake.

Rarely I'll have a bit of coffee with it but most of the time I'll just drink a glass of water with it so nothing interferes with the wonderful flavor of the cake :)

I think it deppends on the flavor of the cake, but I usually drink tea when eating a cake :)

I'm for milk or coffee. For some strange reason I prefer milk with chocolate cake though.

I'd like to eat cakes with milk.Because they are delicious and nutrition by taken with, and it is preferred of my famliy's breakfast.

I am eating a piece of peanut butter mousse cake, and drinking a double mocha latte, as I write this. I would have to say that cake goes best with COFFEE.

I would say Milk goes good with cake. Coffee would too. I never drink soda or tea with cake.
