part time job....where do i start?

i've just graduated from high school and i'm planning to go to university next year, but because my parents can't pay for my whole tuition so i'm taking a part time job.
but the problem is that i dont know where to start, do i ask around or look in newspaper?

Hi lebgirl, i think you should search job on net as well as in newspaper. I hope you can find one.. if you have a pc and the internet connection . then you can do data entry jobs .. or apply in all job site you will recive phone call form the company who want people for part time. enjoy :)

I think it would be best to think about what interest you or what kind of experience you'd like to get! Ever thought about working in radio? Get a part time job at a radio station. How about something dealing with kids or flowers? It is not like you really need to the money or the hours to make as much as you can. Get a job doing something you're interested in doing and the your last summer before university will be very fun!
