Best friends are forever. I guess that doesn't apply to me. One of my best friends disappoint me. She always felt jealous to every thing I did. I didn't know why she did this to me. The last time we had a fight, said that I should avoid or meet up with men who was about to approach her. And in college as well, she always wanted to be the first in everything. Won't accept if someone was on top. I tried to remind her about this bad habits she had, but she would never listen to me. At the end, we finally ended up our relation. And it's like almost ten years we haven't contacted each other. Do you have a best friend who disappoint you? Or do you ever disappoint your best friend?

I don't have friends that disappoint me. And I don't think I have disappointed my friends, that is, if they would tell me if I do. It's a good thing you have ended your relationship. I think your best friend is not good for you with her kind of attitude. It seems as if she is always competing with you which is not the way friends should treat each other. And friends who don't listen to suggestions should learn their lessons for themselves.

Yes i have had this happen. We were the best of friends and she was like a second mum to my children. Then when my partner moved in she suddenly stopped coming round, stopped inviting me down for a cuppa and on the rare occasion she did if my partner was with me she made him feel very unwelcome. She only lives round the corner from me so doesn't really have an excuse. I found out through a mutal freind that she was acctually jealous of me and my partner, as she had been flirting with him on the internet before we got together. Now i let her make the first move have told her that she knows where i am and if she needs me my door is always open.

I just don't understand why people is doing such things as to be jealous or anything, especially if it concerns our best friend. I probably don't mind if she's someone else, like a hang-out friend or something. Well, I guess we should learn how to pick a best friend from that moment. I mean, REALLY BEST FRIEND!
