a news anchor and a camera man together with their guide were kidnapped a couple of days ago by muslim rebels here in our country... they were asking for a 15MILLION ransom which the tv station refused to pay to prevent further kidnappings... after much delay, the media men were finally freed last night... what are your opinions about incidents like these? and if you are from the philippines, what do you think took place and how were the media men freed? was it because of the negotiations or do you think a ransom payment was involved?

Hi posham, I was following about the issue and I am glad that all of them were free now..I guess, there were negotiations took place and they just don't want to let the public know the details...I hope there will be no further kidnappings and wish those people responsible for the kidnappings will be paying what they did. If not by human way of punishing, I know there will be!

i know... this war has been ongoing ever since i can remember... i wonder why we can't get along... is the government really at fault or does this rebel group really can't see the light? i don't know what's happening anymore... or was this just a distraction from the meralco issue? hope not... hehehehe...

I am with you, it's been so long and I also don't understand why the government can't send the army and raid the place....So that, they will not be getting more victims...But, I know also those people are frustrated with the way our government is! I am still hoping for the improvement and peacefulness of our Country!
