Your Thots On Banning Smoking

Being a smoker myself, it's irritating when I walk into a restaurant where there's a bar and knowing your unable to smoke. Knowing that you have to go outside, that you have to alienate yourself from others like your some kind of leper. It vaguely reminds me of what I heard about in history books and television reels, "Whites Only" or "Colored Only" areas. I'm sure some people probably think I'm crazy to compare it to that, especially people who don't smoke. But what about those of you who drink, it wasn't so long ago that they banned alcohol, you don't think they can do that again? You don't think they can give you back your rights and then just snatch them back up again? We're living in a society where the government has its thumb so far up our behinds that they know what we're thinking before WE even do. It's only a matter of time before they take away everything we enjoy. They're already doing it with gasoline, pretty soon it'll be like Russia here. If anyone has any thoughts please let me know

You don't think you're exaggerating just a bit, do you? I don't feel like anyone has anything up my behind. I don't understand your comparing smoking bans with "colored only" signs. A person has no control over what ethnicity they're born with. But smokers choose to smoke. And I don't feel like breathing nasty smelling second hand smoke and carcinogens.

in my country Smoking is banned at Public Places, and i think its the right thing to do, smoking affects health as u might know, bt more than that its too irritating for non smokers to inhale the smoke, especially when it comes out of a mouth of a smoker...
