Seizures Anyone?

I was just wondering how many people are out there that either are or know of someone who is epileptic. And how they deal with their life, what kind of questions they have about what they have to go through. I'm not a diagnosed epileptic, but I have a very low threshold for seizures. Let's say that an average/normal person can stay awake for a week until the body starts to shut down and seize. Where as for me it would be about 2 days. The stressors are really common too for me, like for instance if I drink too much I could have a seizure, if I stress too much, I could have a seizure...so let me just push the button on the back of my neck that says "Relax"...there now I'm relaxed :) Pretty much as long as I don't have fun or try to enjoy life I can live seizure free for the rest of my life :)

Hi. My husband used to have seizures. That is, until he started back taking Phenytoin, generic name for Dilantin. He used to take it when he lived with his mother, but he quit taking it. When he got too stressed or too hot, especially too hot, he would have a seizure. He had gotten to the point where he would have at least 2 a week some weeks. He's been on his prescription for over a year now, and he hasn't had a seizure yet (fingers crossed). My sister's best friend also takes medicine for her seizures, but I'm not sure the name of hers. You can have one drink a day when on the medicines, not around the time you're going to take your medicine. Best wishes to you!!
