my dog is afraid of the water

now i thouht my dog was a wimp being afraid of anythign bigger than himself but recently i deiscovered that my dog is also afraid of the water!!! no wonder he hated taking baths. i was at the lake on the weekend and i threw my dogs ball in the water. now he usually sprints after it because its his favorite toy in the whole world btu he did not go and get it. finally i swam out and got it. i tried again and same thing. this time however i pushed him in and we both swam out and got it. but he seemed to swim in way faster than i did. now somethimes as a joke ill bring out a water gun and hell run away before i even get to load it with water. what a wimp!
