Lakers embarrassed in Finals rout.

The Los Angeles Lakers were routed by the Boston Celtics by a score of 131 to 92 on the Celtics way to their 17th NBA championship tonight. The Celtics could do no wrong tonight as pretty much all their shots were falling from everywhere. Kobe Bryant was nowhere to be found as the Celtics defense smothered him again. The only thing this Lakers fan can hold as a positive is the experience this young Lakers team got. Hopefully Kobe will take a majority of the blame on himself and not pull the blame the teammates card he loves to throw down. If Kobe starts his annual whining act this year the Lakers should consider moving him.

I don't think kobe was to be blamed for this lost...he had limited help from Odom and Gasol... Lakers will definitely be back next season...hopefully a better team with Bynum healthy...

Come on man. Look at his shooting percentage. He was just jacking up crap instead of taking it to the hole. It wasn't just him, but you have to expect more from the league MVP.

Yeah the Lakers played poorly in this game. They really choked under the pressure and weren't able to reduce the Celtics' lead. I think they just gave up after the second quarter. I don't know why Phil Jackson didn't try to motivate them and come up with more impressive plays. I'm a Lakers fan still, so I hope the guys learn from their mistakes and become superstars next year.

Hopefully they can build from this loss.

how can you guys blame it all on a single player...it's a team game and i guess it's the team who's to blame...but there's no doubt that kobe played poorly and much was expected from him, he truly was a disappointment, still no reason to let him have all the blame...oh well, I can only hope for a better next season for the Lakers...
