Does your home have a Theme?
Actually, each room in my house has it's own theme.
My diningroom is a 'woodsy' theme. I have it decorated in pictures of Deer and Bears and there are pinecones and rustic looking decorations all around.
My kitchen is kinda Country looking but I call it my Granny kitchen. I'm not a granny yet, but I like the way it looks like an old ladie's kitchen. I have a vintage canister set with fruit on it, my curtains are lace with teacups on them, some things have apples on them and some things have roosters.
My bedroom is decorated in a collection of teddybears and bunnies.
The livingroom...well, it doesn't quite have a theme.
I wanted it to look kind of victorian, but I haven't had the money to buy the things I want in there yet.
I saw a house before that was decorated on the outside in a Nautical theme. It actually looked kinda like a boat. It had the posts with rope, with seagulls sitting on them.
So if you have a theme for your home, tell me about it!

To answer your question for discussion I have no theme in any room where I live. Unless you call boring a theme. There are no curtains, the walls are all white, but it's what I like to call home, because I feel at least I have a place to live. But I think having a theme is a great thing to do, should you be able to do it. I love your idea. I hadn't thought about it before. Maybe I'll change the decorum when I think of a good theme for myself. Thanks. Good luck. Take care.

Hi momalisa, we don' t have any theme in the house..I just decorated it the way I wanted to..But, I love this idea of yours...Maybe I can edit our living room like a nature so it is more refreshing and soothing..Then the master's bedroom as beach..LOL! Thanks for this wonderful view!

Not really a theme, more like an art project. The dinning room is where the food is eaten so a hog troff would be a good addition. The kids bedroom, more like an abstract painting of dolls and baseball cards. The bathroom, a combination pool and soap filled echo room. The kitchen, more of a chef's paradise but with one dull knife to keep out the looters.

ya my house has to many theme it has a watery theme in my bathroom and greenery in my bed room the loobies of my house are light pink for children room there are cartoon theme on the wall there .
