I would probably go with my best friend because my best friend is always there when I need them and my family...not so much. My family comes up with lots of excuses when I used to need them...now I never ask for anything.

I will choose both. Well, if that is valid..(grin)! I love my family as well as my bestfriend. Family is family, you can't do without them even if you want to. A bestfriend is also like a family. I can't live without them for they are the ones who support me in whatever circumstance I get in whether it be a success or failure.

i will prefer my family because my bestfriend is a part of my family. and i will ask my friend to prefer his family infront of anyone.. even me. I know its may be hard but i feel i have friend who respect their family. when ever i meet a person i see that this person love his family or not , respect their parent or not. If yes, i also respect him and i feel proud that my friend is a good person. If not, i dont get along with him. enjoy :)

I would have to go with family. In a few years your best friend could be your worst enemy easily, over some little thing. It takes a lot more to tear the bond between two family members. Usually your family will be the only ones that are there for you for your entire life, true family will always support you, no matter what. Your family is the most important thing in the world, and neglecting family will not put you in a good position later in life. I know this may be a more serious insight into this than you may have been looking for, but it's my views on it all.

Well, one of my best friends in the world is my mother, so I guess I don't have to choose, since she's both a friend AND family!
