can you live without any belief or any goal?

idle, that's what i'm feeling now. long long ago i was told that if people lived without a goal, they might be like the dead, if people didn't have any belief, say, christian, buddhism, communism,their life could be meaningless. shall we need a goal to achieve? shall we take pains to be better and better?shall we need to be promted to a higher position? shall we need to get a dotorate degree after getting a master's degree? i'm totally at lost, or just be what i am.

Everyone should have a goal in life. If we don't have a destination to reach, we can not go anywhere. When you have a goal or purpose in your life, then only your life will be meaningful. I want to say you one famous saying : "Aeroplane is safe when its in airport and ship is safe when its in harbour. But they are not made for that purpose." So have a purpose in life and move towards it.

i suppose you can coast along. but i want to know why i'm here or life is not worth living and problems aren't worth putting up with. i believe God created us and we are here to live the life He planned for us. when it is our time to leave this earth we go to our heavenly reward.
