medical rep job outline

what exactly is required of a medical rep? what is the job like, can it be monotonous or is it challenging and exciting? i'm thinking of going into the field, would you recomend it?

when you say medical rep what do you mean? like medical rep for equipment? or pharmacy? it is EXTREMELY challenging, my BIL is a medical rep well actually he sells replacement orthotics for big doctors and he goes in to help them with surgeries so he has to know a lot of medical terminology and have a stomach for pointing things out and how things fit into the body....it is about the same as being a doctor but you do not need the MD...so it wouuld be tough...if you want to sell go into the interenational wellness industry. Its challenging job,the main aim of Medical Rep is to market their product using doctors.skills u need is confience,positve,Target oreinted.
