do you wear reading glasses?

i have astigmatism that i find it hard to read words that are in small fonts.. i have to wear eyeglasses before so that my vision would be better.. but later on, i find it so tiring to wear glasses every time i have to read books.. so from then on, i never used my glasses, i only bring it with me always.. i just keep it in my bag..
how about you? do you also wear eyeglasses?

hello baebieDARNA30,I have astigmatism too and I find that I squint everytime I struggle to read something.

yeah i observed it with myself too.. it's really hard to read something specially if you're away from the words you are reading.. sometimes i strain my eyes with just reading simple words that are so little..

I have worn glasses for many years and have just gotten used to them. I tried to do contacts but did not like. I should try again. If you only have to wear them for reading you are lucky, it is better than having to wear all the time.. Have you thought about Laser surgery to correct vision.

i dont like to try contact lenses.. im afraid of the possible side effects that it can cause me.. i might fall asleep without taking them off which is very much dangerous for the eyes.. and also, it is so expensive to get a pair of contact lenses.. i am scared with undergoing some surgery that involves the eyes.. i dont want to take the risk.. im contented with my vision even if it's not that clear like others' do..

I do wear eyeglasses since I was in 5th grade. I have astigmatism too. But, Just like you, I don't wear them all the time. I stopped wearing it for years but everytime I read and I'm infront of my laptop doing my internet stuffs, I wear them.

i got my first eyeglasses when i was in 5th grade too! it's so uneasy for me to wear them, my mother used to call me lazy for not wearing them.. i only wear them when my eyes and my head starts to hurt because of too much reading.. now i take the responsibility why my vision is not that clear at all.. as if im kinda blind.. lol

I wear it just for months but now I'm not. It is just a correctional one and need not to wear for years. It was in college years.
