Why do cat suddenly dash madly round the house??

It was very funny to saw my cat pointlessly up and down the stairs or fighting with the sofa, but his behaviors has parallels with footballer hooliganism. Do your cat same as mine?

every cat do so like your cat its their nature cats want to be active and this makes them to do some thing like this
