It is because of culture you get to know what your ancestors used to do or eat and your specific culture always comes in your genes from you ancestors on the basis of which you likes and dislikes depends. A famous saying that "Culture is heritage", it is right that you inherit your culture automatically. For example, people from Scotland love bag piper music, why? because its their culture and love that music. Their ancestors loves that music too. So sulture for every person on this world will be important.

As far as I can concieve culture is like a bonding material that binds a particular group of people, called society or religion or caste or family, depending on the people involved in group. When u share similar habbits, thinkings, festivals, etc. that makes it ur culture and as u are together with ur kinds in this that makes u feel happy and secure. One should always remember that man is a social animal and he cannot survive alone. Nowadays cases of depression are on increase. People blame it on work pressures. But I think one can absorbs these pressures as well, but when they will communicate with other, when they can share there problems, when they have a society to do this. And to bind a society u need culture. As simple as that.
