Customer is the God?

My Job is to conduct the compalins from Customer and provide the reports that customers want.
Yesterday, I am so upset about it. One of my customer request to send the files that he wants immediately, but I have alreay off work that monoent and it is around 11pm at night.
With no choice, I went back to office and send the files, and back home around 12pm.
I wonder if customer is the god, and we must to do the things that they requested?

dats gud dat u so much dedicated to ur work.i think u will grown higher if u continue work like dat.if a customer wants from me like this i will never do this for him coz according to me mine comfort zone is more importanat rather than customer do u agree ?

sorry i don't agree with you.if you are just an employee and you love your job you will do what is necessary for the customer satisfaction..remember that the customer will give us business.right?

hi sissi.
it just goes to show how dedicated you are. however, do try to set limits with the particular customer. the customer might abuse your kindness.
i have one particular customer who calls me even in the middle of the night to asks questions or favors. if i can do something for her, i do but if not, i propmtly tell her that i'll get back to her when i'm in the office the next day. i've noticed that when i started doing this, her requests are usually made during office hours and not in the middle of the night.

hello.we have saying that the customer is always right and we have to consider that the customer is our boss.no matter how customer treated you,just do your job and as long as it is related to your job you have to respect it.Goodluck
