Friends or just links?

well, come to think of it,we 're all hooked to any online networking like friendster, myspace, facebook and even mylot?
My question is , is it appropriate to tagged all those included in your list as "friends" or just labeled them as they're being linked to your account? I have my friendster account and honestly, I can only name a few whom i can consider as friends. Some I would call them as my acquaintances, my schoolmates, and even some who I only got acquainted for a day or weeks.If some would want me to be friends with them on their account I immediately accept them but then will I ever count on them If i have a problem or will they ever be patient enough to hear my crazy stories? Is it appropriate to tag it as "friends" or just "links" . I'm just curious.

I suppose this is personal preference. I know in the shorrt time I have spent here on my lot I feel closer to some more than others kind like people I know in real world life. I will say some people are more personal than others and some are more here for the cash. To each his own. A friend or link it may just be your point of view thhat matters so i think you can tag them how you want?
