In the later '80 I came across a camera, Kodak SRL 135mm made in 1937. I got it as a birthday present from my brother. At the time a was a camera buff and got my older brother interested in the subject. As a thank you he gave me the camera. Now the real story...my brother got it from an ex CIA officer (I think he was station chief in Pakistan). Prior to joining the CIA, he was an Intel Officer in the US Army. He was one of the first American to enter the Eagles Nest (Hitler's lair) at the end of WWII. This where this camera came from. And til today it still takes great picture. Sometimes I wonder what pictures this camera took and whose was it specifically? How about you do you have something somewhere among your possessions that has a story or at least makes a great conversation piece? Stay tune ... I am on the hunt for info on a Imperial Russian medal/badge/order pin that may have been owned by Nicholas II.
