That the person on the lowest rung on the office ladder is often given the highest personal responsibilties? "It is nice to be trusted, but just strikes me as odd"

For one thing the fellow on the lowest rung is seen by the others as someone who need to trained in the job. How else to train a person on the job other than be giving him/her more responsibilities. The second thing is being the younger one a greenhorn to say it differently people find that they will have more energy than the older people, so why not put it to use. Third, since a relative newbie has joined the chore part of a work can be pushed down now. I do not whether I have answered your query pointedly but I have said what is happening in my company and what happened with my life. Depending on your response I can continue further, cuz otherwise I would be going tangentially.

I don't know why it is but it does seem as though that happens a lot. I know that I am the part time person in our department but they expect me to work as hard as the department head and be in charge of the work area. I don't think that the department head does as much work as I do,but that is not my problem.

i think it is because people in the higher rung of the office ladder wants to see how you handle stress?
