i dont know what shape it will take and what direction it will go to and how will you react to this that having married and settled down still you will ask for more and dare to have an extra marital affair or two. many do it . true. but how many will admit and to their life partners?

you have asked a real bold question and difficult to answer. since time immemorial the immoral things have been happening in our society, and under whatever garb but to say it boldly and accept it and admitting it to the life partner is rather difficult thing. and to add now there are even legal sources in some societies to hang out and the secret remains one for not too long and leaks out too. well the courage to admit and face it will be extraordinary for both the partners.

Mostly its men who have extra-marital affair. There are women but very few and maybe its because their partners are always emotionally absent or they dont satsify them. As for me, I am not thinking of having extra marital affair ever in my life because am satisfied with what God gave me and even if my husband does not fulfil me there is no reason I should cheat on him. Once I made a choice and swore before God and people in church that I will be faithful to him.

May be even thinking of having an extra marital affair 10-20 yrs ago was a crime, but now its rather become a must-do for the married men than a should-nt-do thing. people have become more and more fearless about what-my-neighbour-would-say thing, which was probably one of the strongest reasons why men or women upto the 90s preferred their dignity & self esteem over personal pleasure, but nowadays their neighbour is doing the same why would they step behind? its more of a status ; i really have heard people saying: "i had three affairs after my marriage, u had only one?" this is how our culture has turned up. and if at all u seem to think any one admits it to their life partners, then i wud say, no one admits but still 90% of them know about it at some part but they dont do a thing coz generally indian women are still in the 1980s and 1990s, i.e. they r still afraid of what-the-society would say. obviously they r right in their place. the icons : politicians, sportstars, industrialists and television stars are doing it... so why would the common man lag behind? it is the new genre cult status. Unbeleivable???? Isn't It??? beleive it...

hi skt welcome to my discussion and thanks for rather bold response to my discussion. i personally feel that people have little respect for keeping the sanctity of the little stretch of body in tact and are after the little and momentary enjoyment and they want to live their today rather than tomorrow that they do not know how it will be.ok, let it be but i am surprised by the little response the discussion has generated!!!!coward people around unwilling to accept what is on ..
