Yes, the Dutch are STRONG but they are week in defence. I mean, when the match goes to the knockout, defence is essential. I really cannot see how the Dutch can win over Russia. Maybe they have Van Nisterooy. Maybe they have Kuyt. Maybe they have Robben. They Just don't have the spirit to win the Trophy.

Well I got to hand it to you!! you called it perfectly, I was really hoping the Dutch would pull it off but once again they flattered to deceive. Nice call. How do you view the Spain vs Italy Game?

Spain is full of talent but they don't have the experience of a big event. As for Italy, even if they're without Pirlo and Gattuso, they still have Buffon, Del Piero, De Rossi etc. They know how to control a knock-out game. So I'm in favor of Italy.

that is over optimistic..dutch should play very poorly to lose the game..but it is possible..

I agree with you that the Dutch don't have the best defense in the world but I think they have enough fire power up front to come out victorious, remember sometimes the best defense is a good offense.

Much as yesterday's game finished strong, i hope this one is entertaining from start to finish. I imagine the Dutch will be massive favourites, but then again Croatia were widely expected to beat Turkey so ...
Be sad to see another big game like this go to penalties.
I'm looking forward to seeing some of the promising Russians, but the Dutch should be way to strong for them.
