The Yankees avoided being swept by the Reds at home by winning by a score of 4 to 1 on Sunday. Andy Pettite earned his eighth win of the year. MAriano Rivera notched his 21st save. Jason Giambi had three hits. Jorge Posada had two doubles for the crazy yankees.
