i need some help mylotters.i have registered a domain.i am new to creation of website.i will use dreamweaver to create website.i need to create a social networking website.i have heard that i need to use web 2.0 software.can you please tell me where can i get web 2.0 software and how can i use it to create my website.is there any other way to create a social website.

Im late, but Im new here. I have a ning site, and its create, by not a lot of options . If you use go daddy or something like that, or your own server, there are a lot of open source cms programs like Joomla, moodle( education based) I really like community server. ning.com is a place where you can create social networks. You could just use that and make your domain take people to the one you create.

ok... i agree with the previous post... ning is a wonderful social networking website creator you can use... it has two types the free ning account or the upgraded ning account... another social networking creator is php fox... and we're curently using it at gizter if you want to explore it you may visit www.giztermark.tk... this one is php script that will allow you to create your social networking... its up to you...

Eh? Pardon? Did you mention social networking site just like Friendster, Myspace, Facebook?? Well, if you're talking to this sites. You can't easily make a social networking website. You need to know more about HTML, CSS & PHP and even SQL. But if you really want to create a simple/basic website, Macromedia Dreamweaver is the best HTML editor for beginners.
