I am only 28 years old, and in my time I have noticed that the views of people vary mostly by age. For example my Mom and Aunt are in their late 50's and my friend's mom is in her late 40's all of them freak out about money! If they don't have it stock piled then it's the end! They also will buy a bunch of things for kids and grandkids, then afterwards go on and on about how they shouldn't have spent so much to US whom they gave the stuff to!! How should one respond to that?

Well, it must be nice not to have to worry about money. We have four small children and money is always an issue. Yes, we like to buy them things and it's usually stuff we could have lived without but my children's happiness means more to me than a having to make that new car payment.

Oh don't get me wrong, we have money problems ourselves, we struggle each month just to get by, and we aren't always able to pay all of our bills. BUT we don't go out to eat or buy a bunch of stuff. For the holidays we get each of our 2 girls one toy, and a few used clothes, then for the rest of the family we make them a gift and we have our fmaily picture taken to give out as gifts also. It just gets to me that for a moment in time my family act like they are rich but then later regret spending it.

Money plays a big role in everyones life. Everyone wants something that involves money, and everyone wants a lot of it, whether they admit it or not. Its nice to have stuff, you know? They like giving, but also like to have nice things for themselves.
