Hi friends Here is the some useful information about HIV virus. Please give me your response about it also more information and comments about it. HIV can never survive in any other liquid or medium also other than blood and semen. Even if one drinks an HIV infected blood (or semen) of someone, the virus can not survive in in the acidic pH of stomach. Highest extent of acidity is 0 (practically not possible) so imagine 1 as pH which is in our stomach. (this pH burns your own finger in less than a second if you dip in that acid). Exposure of less than 1 second in AIR KILLS the HIV virus. HIV Transmission is only infection that is entrance of virus in one's body then it does not mean that AIDS. An HIV infected person can progress to a condition of AIDS only after 8-10 years. It is not HIV that kills a human. The virus attacks on immune cell (cell that fights against foreign antigens) and hence a person's ability to fight against infections and diseases slowly diminishes and person ultimately dies of a diseases as simple as TB. Most important, HIV is no longer a dreadful disease. It is CHRONIC MANAGEABLE DISEASES just like Diabetes or Hypertension. If there is anything you need to be careful from prevent HIV is unsafe S*x, Blood Transfusion, and any blood contact during any accidents.

All the things you've mentioned are correct. The HIV virus cannot survive outside and even if a person gets infected, there are medicines to keep the virus in check before it progresses to become AIDS.Sice HIV attacks the immune system, people who've contracted the virus die due to other diseases rather than by the virus, because of very weak immune systems. So a person may, most often, die due to TB,pneumonia, malaria and jaundice and stuff. There has been progression in medication but its stil unavailable to the lower classes since its too expensive for them.So they usually die and also pass on the virus to their children. Its a very sad state of affairs.
