I was reading an article on Yahoo News this morning talking about Apple being biased to women with long fingernails. The touch screen on the Iphone is activated by the electromagnetic current in the tips of the fingers. Some women with longer nails are complaining that they are unable to use the Iphone since their nails get in the way. As a cure to this they say that Apple should create a stylist that comes with the Iphone so that they can use the product. So what do you think? Should Apple create a stylist to accommodate these long nails or is it good enough the way it is? Tell me, what do you think!?! A Link to the article: http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs/hughes/29052

well i don't see what's wrong with that. women with long fingernails would still have their finger pads right? just a little tilt of their finger and they'll be able to use the iPhone just fine. a stylus for the iPhone just seem so wrong. if they are so unhappy about the product, use something else. and if they are crazy about the product (like me ), cut their nails.

Great point. Thank you for the response. That is a wonderful outlook, use the pads of your finger or cut your nails. To take a TOUCH SCREEN and make it a text pad would be wrong as that would call for more components to be added on a product that is great the way it is. Once again Thank you for the response and have a great day!!

My nails grow and they get long but not super long. I have problems sometimes typing so to fix that I just trim them. Now this lady could trim her nails and there would be no problem using the phone. If that doesn't work then there is a glitch in the phone that Apple will have to fix that. A stylist is not needed for the phone. Trim the nails and that will fix the problem if it is the person nails.

That is the way that I see it, if your nails are the problem then trim the nails or goto other technology. I do not like it when people complain about something in their control since either you do something about it or shut up. Thank you for the response and have a great day!!!
