The death sentence.... right? or wrong?

So a man kills someone, do u kill him back? Does this really make sense to some ppl?? Why try to stop ppl from killing and tell them its wrong when we as a society are supporting murder ourselves???

Does it not say in the bible, "an eye for an eye". I think anyone that commits a crime should have the same punishment. as gruesome as it may have been.

I TOTALLY agree. I do believe the life sentence is the best thing. Maybe they will develop a consience and realize what they did or like many prisoner receive the Lord in jail and although they will never get out at least they will die in peace not just that but you are right if we are doing the "eye for an eye" theory then doesn't that make us just as bad as them?
