heart over mind? or mind over heart?

Smart people use their heart and their mind. The calculating mind tempers the heat in the heart. I am not one of those smart people. I usually choose the heart and make really, really big mistakes in judging a person's character. I want to believe that everyone is good inside and not capable of hurting me. I think I started listening to my head, I know I'm trying.

That is a continuing dilemna we will always face. The battle between the heart and the mind. Our heart comes into play when the decisions involved are those centred around the ones close to us and how we think those decisions will impact them.

I know what you mean sometimes it seems that the heart and the mind both have different point of views and it is hard to figure out which one to go with,I have had several situations in which my heart told me yes,and my mind told me no,and it was very difficult for me to choose,even though usually I go with my heart,because they say the heart is never wrong.

carrotcake14, Depends on the situation . If it where a relation situation, family,kindness, etc. i would probably choose heart over mind. If it was a situation where it would impact my future(school, work, etc.) i would choose mind over heart. The conclusion is, there is no actual "real" answer to this topic, i just pointed out both point of views. If you have a situation and if your not sure, just remember what i said . I try really hard to listen to my heart, but sometimes my mouth opens before I know it! Then it's like holy moly! Why did I do that?!?

In my case my feeling of the heart tend to generate from the bain. It seems as if they are connected in someway. I tend to like to make heart felt descions in all matters in life. Nice post take care. :)
