How did you know that your sweetheart, honestly love you?

A friend of mine ask me this question because until now she don't know if her sweetheart honestly love her. She found out that the guy had many girlfriends but he told her that he really love her honestly... sometimes she believe him because he is so sweet to her and thoughtful and loving but how about the other girlfriend? what is your idea or suggistion to find out if her boyfriend honestly love her.

If he says "I love you" to his other girlfriends, now whom does he really love? I won't believe that he truly loves her coz we can only love one person at a time in a relationship.
To know that someone truly loves me, doesn't have to be expressed through words. His feelings are expressed explicitly through his deeds, trust, and loyalty. And more to it, is the "sense" that I get that he truly has feelings for me.

That's right.. She needs to use her head and not be overturned by her emotions. The more she will get hurt in this situation.

I think that if this boyfriend has another girlfriend she should not trust him. He may be sweet and loving to her and maybe even to the other girl, but he could leave your friend if he feels that the other girl is a better girlfriend. I knew that my fiance honestly loves me because he listens to me, talks to me. He shares with me his problems, and tells me he loves me daily.
