I just noticed that I've been responding to discussions that were posted last night. Since I suffer from the dreaded "early morning brain fog" I didn't even notice when the emails were sent until I had gone through about 5 of them. Then I realized that they were all from yesterday.
I have many friends here in myLot, so it's strange to have so few new emails from new discussions. Is anyone else experiencing this or am I just being paranoid?

I only have email notifications set up on one of my friends, and she hasn't been that active lately. I'm rather wary about setting up email notifications. At another site, there was a gliche and when it got fixed, I got 6000 emails all in one day. Ever since, no matter what the site, I've turned off email notifications. I'm sure I miss things. But when I log on here, I hit the "discussions my friens started." That's how I found this.

Thanks for the excellent suggestion! Of course, that doesn't help me with my current mystery. I'll just wait and see, I guess.
By the way, the email showing your response showed up just fine!

These are new discussions I'm talking about. There are usually at least a couple of dozen new discussions sent to my email.

Hi there! Well, not that you've mentioned it, it does seem that I am receiving less emails from discussions lately. As compared to about a month ago, just a rough estimate, I may be receiving around 40% less emails.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that it's summer and more people are on vacations or have young children out of school. I wish I knew!

well, i think i get notification from mylot as usual. i guess they just haven't comment your responses? i don't know...

I'm talking about notices of new discussions. I usually have at least 25 new discussions sent to my email in the morning. So far, only one or two.
