So for those of you who are married, you know how important that first dance is. The first song we danced to was "She's My Kind of Rain" by Tim McGraw, so I thought that should be our wedding song. Then one night, my b-friend/husband said to me "what do we do if one of us has an idea for our wedding song?" and he told me he wanted "Wonderful Tongight." So after many years of thinking "Wonderful Tonight" would be our wedding song, I randomly downloaded "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds. As soon as I heard it, I told my b-friend/husband, and we immediately changed it. I wanted to share the lyrics of this song, because they are just awesome. The Luckiest, Ben Folds i dont get many things right the first time in fact, i am told that a lot now i know all the wrong turns, stumbles and falls brought me here and where i was i before the day that i first saw your lovely face now i see it, every day and i am, i am, i am, the luckiest what if i'd, been born, fifty years before you in a house, on the street, where you lived maybe i'd be outside as you passed on your bike would i know? and in a wide sea of eyes i see one pair that i recognize and i know that i am, i am i am, the luckiest i love you more than i have ever found a way to say, to you next door, there's an old man who lived to his nineties then one day, passed away, in his sleep then his wife, she stayed for a couple of days, and passed away i'm sorry i know thats a strange way to tell you that i know we belong that i know that i am, i am i am, the luckiest awwwww... :)
