It depends on a lot of things, their religion, their cultures, themselves. Every couple must make that decision for themselves. Just how important is it to the man and the woman?

a liberated men would not think of it, but for men of country that have a culture and way of life that has too much of religion and superstition, it maybe a must...

No, I think that is absolutely unnecessary - unless the people in question belong to a religion where that is a must.
