how can i stop him?

my boyfriend smokes a lot. i've been telling him to stop or somehow slowly stop. im fed up, can anyone help me on convincing him?any tips or advice?

i guess the best thing you could try is to tell him about risks there are from smoking, on television i heard that there are now five million deaths a year from tabacco. show him statistics on how tabacco effects people, hopefully seeing how bad the facts are will make him have more effort to quit.
