How many hours do you sleep a day?

Many professionals today don't anymore meet the needed sleep of their body per day. Are you one of them? So how long do you sleep? What are it's effects on you?

to be frankly speaking any individual needs around 6 hours of minimum sleep. so as a B.TECH student i spend a lot of time in the bed. but i feel very lazy to wake up. and moreover our college has no attendance as such so we feel sleepy afetr a good night out mainly night outs r 4 watching movies.but as a student u got to make up ur studies as well and for that u need to forgo ur useful hours of sleep. we feel sleepy only for the fact that we are tired that day.many professionals i feel come very late to their place after a tiresome job so atleast 6 hours of sleep is necessary but they have to rush up the next day and so dont meet the needed hoursof sleep and face problems like frustation, unable to work in the office.the same effects are for everyone around.SO MAKE SURE TO SLEEP ATLEST 6 HRS A DAY.ITS FOR ME AS WELL.

I sleep about 5 to 6 hours a day I am a stay at home mom and take care of two children all day. Sometimes I get more sleep than that and sometimes I get less sleep than that. I need to be wide awake to keep my children safe though.

I sleep somewhere between 7 & 8 hours of sleep. It just depends on how long it takes me to fall asleep once laying down and how early I have to be up for class or work in the morning. (Recently I've been working 8-6 & 7-6 shifts, and they're dragging me down.) I don't think it has any negative effects on me, that I can see. After my long work days I'm usually a bit tired, but I think that would be the case regardless of how much sleep I got.

I need about 6 hours for night sleep, about 1 hours for mid noon to get higher work efficience! I think 7 hours for me is so enough!

I get 5-7 hours of sleep a night. I feel tired a lot so I think I might need more. It's hard for me to get out of bed in the morning. Sometimes I even need to take a nap during the day to stay productive. I feel best when I get 8 or 9 hours a night.

sometimes when i was overburdened with tons of work, i slept for 3 -4 hours, but when i enjoyed my holiday, i might sleep for 20 hours. lol

I'm a very busy Pharmacy student... I always staying up late night and waking up early giving me 5-7 hours of sleep only. Whenever in school especially in the afternoon, I'm really feeling sleepy, I also got headaches and dizziness. It is really not nice to sleep only for a few hours.
