Me yes I would if someone has entered my home with out me know ya I am going to point it, rather pull the trigger or not I don't know if I could, However if the person was tending to hurt me I bet I would.. I am not a violent kind of person but will use force if needed.. Personally I think it's ok to have guns in your home as long as you know the proper way of using them... But just having it there and using it for no good reason is WRONG, very WRONG.. Those are the kind of people that shouldn't have the right to have guns. But on protecting yourself and your family yes I think that having a gun will help but than again not in all cases.
