well, to be perfectly honest, i don't really care if anyone responds to this discussion because i won't be around to see it. this will be my last discussion or response to a discussion. when i started, i thought it would be a great place to have interesting discussions about interesting topics and, perhaps, make a little money at the same time. i quickly came to learn that the only discussions that people respond to are the ones from their "friends" or the ones begging for a response-like the experimental one that i started about "what does it take to get a response?" really? that's what people respond to the most? no one has anything more interesting to talk about than how to get responses to discussions? i remember a few of the tips were to have lots of friends, because friends tend to answer each other's discussions first. well that's great. i became friends with everyone who asked me to, except for that one person who has requested me, but i don't really see the point, since i won't be back. anyway, none of the discussions were really worth responding to-how many phones you have, whatever, that kind of stupidity (oh oh, this discussion will be removed because i called another discussion stupid...)is not worth discussing-who really cares? i have 3 phones. anyone feel better or enlightened because i told them that? hey, here's a good one...how many pairs of yellow shoes do you own? now that's interesting right? good discussion? i could have started 100's of "how many ___ do you have? discussions, but i actually did try to start discussions about interesting things (and not things that i copied from a news website (or should i say re-typed because i wasn't yet priviliged to copy and paste)and i definitely tried to respond truthfully, if not always agreeably to all kinds of discussions, not just the ones from my "friends" or the ones about "how to get responses". hmm. well, maybe i will check back in a couple of days to see how this is doing-if it's even still here...if not, then goodbye to everyone-and i didn't even reach payout-only $4.16 as of today-about 3 months in, maybe longer. i don't even care though. i've got better things to do with my time than trying to get to payout...like pretty much anything!

This is either a way to get some responses or its fake. Either way, you should enjoy your time here, people ask the simple questions to find out about you, its called small talk. If you want to blog then this isn't the place.

"This is either a way to get some responses or its fake" Good point. Either way, it's enough to annoy people to the point that they purposely avoid this user in the future.

Ok, bye! You have a really bad attitude towards mylot. It sounds like you chose some bad interests if you always found so many bad discussions. You mention you accepted friend requests but how many did you make? $4.16 for 178 post is pretty decent pay but 178 posts spread out over 3 months is a lousy activity level. I would guess it was your own fault no one noticed you, maybe if you'd posted a bit more things would have been different...oh but wait I forgot, all we wanted to talk about was telephobes and yellow shoes. Look I'm not normally an argumentative person but this type of post annoys me. If you want to leave, then go. We don't need an explanation, and judging by what you say about us, we don't want you here. If you had a bad time here you have only yourself to blame. You rarely posted, obviously didn't have a broad enough list of interests, and probably didn't choose your friends as wisely as you should have (based on the fact that you accepted all but one). If for whatever reason you decide to give mylot another chance...actually try to make it work. If you're leaving for good...BYE!

I agree with you on the aspect of being tired of seeing ppl post mostly nonsense just for the sake of posting to get paid. I tend to look around and see what's interesting and skipping what is irrelevant. I see this at other paid or point sites as well. There's my 2 cents :) Marsha
