Halo or Halo 2: which would you choose?

Who has played both Halo and Halo 2?Which one is better? Why do you think it is better?How many times have you beat each one?Do you play them on X-box or PC?Do you own one or both of them?Is the Halo series a good game series?I currently own Halo and ,am borrowing Halo 2 from my brother,on X-box,and they are both really good games,and me and my brother love playing them on co-op,because I think it is more fun working together,and besides if one dies,they will respawn as long as the other person does not die, when it comes down to which one is better it is hard to choose because Halo in my opinion has several missions except they are too short,while Halo 2 has too few missions but they are longer,but if I had to pick I would say Halo,because Halo 2 is too short,and you spend too much time switching between the Master Chief and the arbiter,which in my opinion is a waste,and I would much rather be the Master Chief and have marine support,I have beaten Halo on my own like maybe five times,but I have only beaten Halo 2 on my own once,and I cant begin to count how many times me and my brother have beaten them on co-op lol,I would defitnely say that the Halo series is a great game series,and that both games are good to play when you are stressed, because killing aliens is always a good way to make one feel better,and that other than the Splinter Cell series,the Halo series is one of my favorite series, and I am currently saving so I can get a X-box 360 and get Halo 3,so I can see if it as awesome and it sounds,so if anyone has played Halo 3 and can give me their opinion or advice on the game please share it with me,and I will appreciate any responses that I get.

Halo 3.
The gameplay is better. The MM is better even though they got rid of superjumps and glitchs :(
The campagin is awesome a lot of fun with the ability to turn skulls on instead of having to fight through a whole level on legendary for 5 minutes of the skull being on..

That sounds very awesome and it sounds like Halo 3 will be a whole lot of fun to play ,and that sucks majorly that they got rid of the superjumps and glitches,but I am glad to hear that the campaign is a lot of fun,and that is cool that you have the ability to turn the skulls on without having to fight through a whole level of legendary for five minutes of the skull being on,thanks for responding,have a great day,good luck in your life,and Happy Posting.

I did not like the second Halo. It was a re-hash of the same stuff and yet muddled the story further and the ending was horrible. The game was really short as well. However, Halo 3 was rather fun.

Man I loved Halo 2. For the pure purpose of the online play. Like two or three years ago I would play the crap out of that game. I love being able to talk trash. Its was fun. I think Halo 3 missed the boat on that. The gameplay is better, but I miss being able to talk to the other team.

Thanks for the response,thats cool that you loved Halo 2 for the online play,and that you would play the crap out of the game two or three years ago,that sucks that you think Halo 3 missed on that,but at least the gameplay is better.

i personally dont like neither one, but my boyfriend has been playing sinc Halo, he even bought that xbox 360 only for Halo 3. When he is off from work that is all he does is camp infront of the tv and he puts that little headset on (looking like a pilot on a plane) and he stays on the game until its is time for bed. and all day long i hear him going back and forth with the other team and some of the people on his team especially if they have put someone on his team that sucks. i tried to play it once but i cant get the controls together so i gave up. my 4 yer old plays amost as good as his dad but he likes to just play the campaign.

That sucks that you do not like either,and thats cool that your boyfriend plays them,and thats cool that he bought an X-box 360 just so he could get Halo 3,and thats one of the main reasons I am going to get an X-box 360,That is cool that he camps out infront of the television and stays on the game until time for bed,and it sounds like he really gets into the game,and it sucks that you can not get the controls together,and that is cool that your four year old plays almost as good as his dad,thanks for responding,have a great day, good luck in your life,and Happy Posting.
