Man faces charges in assaulting a woman with Chicken

A Michigan man is facing charges for beating a woman in the head with 10 pounds of frozen chicken. And the day previous he stabbed his own mother in the back of the neck with a fork because she wouldn't give him money! I am sure that there's some sort of misunderstanding in all of this that isn't being portrayed. What do you guys think?
