How bad can internet addiction get ?

It depends on you and you only. For some it can get so bad that they ignore there family, house work and themselves as well and spend ALL there time on the internet. It can truly get really bad but that is IF you let it. We all get carried away at times but we have to make shure that we put priorities in order and ask yourself if the internet is really important or is your family and there health more important.

Actually, I don't think anyone here is exactly addicted to the internet. They are only addicted to what internet can offer. For example, there are some here who claim to be addicted to mylot. They can spend many hours posting in mylot. There are some who are addicted to online gaming. They can spend days and nights gaming online. Internet offers so many things that it's easy to be addicted to them. Importantly, one must be self disciplined and lead a balanced life. Life offline can be interesting as well. As for me, I have always been into watching anime (japanese cartoons) online.

The internet can be very addicting as most things that cause addiction. When I first got the internet, I found that I was on for hours on end. First on aol, in chat rooms and then endless hours searching the never ending list of many many websites. There is nothing you can't do on the internet, or at least I have found.
