Same goes here.Every Filipino has the same sentiments i think.I miss every people around me back home, even if they're not connected to me by blood or a relative.I miss the climate, the rain. The early sound of radio and other typical province scene. And of the course the food.By the way where are you now?

My family, the food, and the friends and colleagues. These are the things that I would definitely miss if I leave the country. I guess every Filipino who will leave the country would miss the same. We love our family, the friends, and we like the our foods well. The food that I will be missing will be 'Pinakbet'. We cannot find most of the ingredients we use here in the other countries. Thanks for bringing this discussion and have a great day!

Yes, definitely family and friends are on top of the list. Then next is food, especially Jollibee! I miss eating chickenjoy. And also even if there is McDonald's in the US, i miss McSpaghetti because they don't have it here. The first thing I'm gonna eat when I come home is Chickenjoy ^___^

Same with you mely123, I'm gonna miss my family, friends and relatives, the home were am I staying, the aura, the cats I own, Filipino food and most especially the Christmas & New Year Season. Nothing compares of the Christmas & New Year season here in Philippines.

We have quite the same sentiments. Aside from my family and friends, one of the things I really enjoy here is the food. Not only is it cheap, it's also delicious. I noticed that the farther I am from the Philippines, the more expensive food is! In Asia food is normally cheaper but when I go to the USA or to Canada, I spend more on food and other necessities. Filipino food is like comfort food to me. It brings back wonderful memories of dinner parties and childhood pastimes.

every filipino who left the philippines really miss their family, i feel the same way too. I miss my friends too, here in other country we all have difficulties in finding true friends. of course in the philippines, we already had a set of friends there. of course i also miss the food in our country, although i cook filipino food here in japan, the ingredients for our filipino recipes are very limited. i miss chickenjoy and it's gravy.......... i also miss divisoria and baclaran, cheaper commodities and also the street foods like fishballs and squidball. i miss everything about our country......

What I miss the most about the Philippines is the local Filipino cuisine. I also miss my friends and my teammates from the Spanish team in my previous work. I miss going to Megamall every other Saturdays. I miss shopping in Divisoria and Baclaran. I miss eating out at Chow King or Jollibee with friends. I miss black gulaman. Hehe. I miss my hometown.
