I use windows xp and I love it, its easy to use. I've heard some bad stuff about Vista, that its hard to use and sometimes it isn't compatible with your computer or hardware. We just bought a new computer a few months ago and I didn't want one with Vista on it, luckily we found one with windows xp and so far so good.

Yeah thats what I would do too. Its real easy to use and its faster, well ours is anyway. We also have a friend that is a computer nerd, and he said that Vista just causes too many problems and sometimes it can be hard to fix.

I have been using Windows XP for 4 years. I used to reinstall my Windows XP for many times because of viruses and other problems, for instance the uncompatibality of the hardwares. But, generally, Windows XP has friendly-user interface. And you will never neglect for using this OS.

hi,If your comp config. is good enough I'll recommend to install VISTA ultimate instead of XP pro. Otherwise XP pro is better. Hi, what is the current operating system you are using at the moment? Is it 95? 98? Me? 2000? Whichever operating system you have, make sure that your system meets the minimum requirements for installation of Windows xp. I would initially go for the Home Edition. I currently use windows xp home edition and it's terrific, I have never had any problems with it. Good luck. Andrew
