Does anyone on mylot have oily hair? I do and I am getting kind of sick of it. I have tried different shampoos and there are only a couple of ones that work on my hair. I have tried Tresemme deep cleaning and theres work pretty well, but I currently ran out of it. Right now all we have in our bathroom is herbal essence, dandruff shampoo and sunsilk. None of those work all that good on my hair. I try to keep alternating between them and it helps a little but not that much. The reason why I say they don't work that well on my hair is because my hair gets really oily really quickly. I have to watch what shampoos I use on my hair. I have used suave before and an hour later my hair looks oily. I want to try nuetrogena's anti residue shampoo, has anyone tried it? If so, does it really work? Whenever I or my mother goes to the store I am going to try and get some tresemme or some neutrogena's shampoo because I am tired of this. Does anyone else have a problem with oily hair?

I am not really sure if my hair is oily or not to be honest. I have been shaving my head for about 15 years and it hasn't been a problem for me. Before I started shaving it it was not oily though, so unless it has changed I am not sure about now. Of course, I could let it grow and find out, but one of the reasons I shave it daily is because, well, it started falling out and would leave me naturally bald on top too. Love the Avatar by the way.

I have oily hair. I I use Tresemme and it has been the only thing that works the best on me out of everything i've used before... I also find it helps if i don't use conditioner on it all the time so I only condition my hair when think it needs it maybe 2-3 times a week. sometimes i'll wash it twice a day and use baby shampoo that works too

I've got really oily hair, too, and Neutragena is really good at drying it out. I've also found that rinsing my scalp with vinegar after I've washed my hair helps. The smell goes away, after awhile, and you're good to go. You might also want to try brushing your hair through with baby powder or cornstarch later in the day. I've found that that helps with the greasy look, if I can't wash my hair.
