Philippine boxing icon Manny "Pacman" Pacquio made history, knocking out WBC lightweight champion David Diaz in the 9th round Sunday (Saturday in Las Vegas) to become the first Asian to hold 4 different weights and the first Filipino to hold the crown. After working his right jab effectively, Pacquiao called an old favorite to finally end the match. Snapping Diaz's head with a right jab, Pacquiao unleashed a right jab before uncorking his pet left hand, sending the now former champ, who ever saw the killer blow coming, crashing at the 2:24 mark of the ninth round. The Mandalay Bay Event Center erupted in cheers as Michael Buffer announced the new champion. Supporter rushed the ring as television interviewers sought out Pacquiao. Vic Drakulich waved off the fight after checking on Diaz, who Pacquiao approached even as he lay on the floor. Hep hep Hurry! Long live the pHilippines! So what can you says about this guys?

Good for Pacman but when is he going to stop his boxing career? Isn't he contented with what he has achieved already? He's got a big mansion already. He's got a convenience store. Why else does he want to fight over and over again? Still I congratulate Pacman. He must have practiced well. He must be very disciplined to get him to the top. Now that he's the first Asian to get 4 different weight titles, what's next?

PS: I really don't like it when he tells the press that his opponent is just a Tricycle Driver or his opponent is just a Taxi Driver. I don't understand why he seems to look down on people who are trying to make a living. I would appreciate it if he'd only tell the press that he's sure to win against his opponent and not mention the "Tricycle driver/taxi driver" part. These people also love him.

Manny " the Money" Pakyaw is already surpass the legendary Gabriel flash Elorde in terms of Championship belt earn. We can see the very though and crafty pakyaw on this fight. But I am still not convince that he is the best fighter in terms of pound for pound, because most of his opponent are not so talented and being selected by his long boy freind Freedy cockroach..why mr Cockroach did not respond when edwin valero challenge pakyaw? I dont think pakyaw will won if he will be match with Juan Diaz?
