how long du you keep your computer switched on at a time?

i at times keep my computer switched on for upto 8 hours, this is necessiateed due to some online computer work that i do, but otherwise on holidays i hardly keep the computer on for more than 2 hours

It's depended. If I have something downloaded,maybe I'll keep my PC switched all day and all night..

i have been on the computer for like 20 hours straight a few times lol but most every day its like 8-12 hours a day

My fiance and I have a laptop which we switch off after every use. Sometimes it will stay on for a few hours and sometimes for all day, but after each use we turn it off so that it may cool down. His parents also have a computer that my fiance uses and they keep it on all day. Have a Great day.
