First is, as always said, is the best impression. How can we have an impression before we speak or know about a person. Sometimes we experience or feel that we like a person, even though he is a stranger. Or it may be the opposite, that is we don't like them. How does this happen? Is there any explanation through science?

I also don't really know why we humans have this first impression thing, and I also don't really know the explanation behind it, but I can just make assumptions. I assume that we humans are programmed such that we are wary of our surroundings to avoid threats. As such, we tend to observe someone or something to get a general impression of how the person or thing will behave if we were to deal with the person or thing. This is I guess how we develop that first impression mindset. For me, I always try not to make first impressions on people because I know sometimes people might just be "out of place" on that certain occasion and might be different at other times. But in terms of like going for an interview, first impressions are always important if you want to get that dream job. In fact, I always feel a bit shy or timid when speaking to other people in fear of them getting wrong first impressions of me. That's why I tend to be quite reserved in real life and will only open up if I get to know another person better. To sum it up, first impression mindsets can either be useful or be one's downfall. It's up to us to know how to balance between each......

Thank you. It was very useful information. It is I think just the mind which plays.

Yeah, I guess the way we are brought up as a child also has an impact in moulding is to become like that.....remember how our parents used to tell us not to talk to strangers? I guess with that, we will always have the impression that strangers are bad and we will always think like that even if someone good (but is a stranger) comes along and talk to you.....

well,i want to believe that inside each of us there is a spirit that has a way of recognising what will work for or against us but most times we tend to ignore some warnings when it comes but the truth is man willl always recogniose what he likes in another
