How to start making money with mylot.com?

Hi i am new here and I am a little confused about this site. I don't quite get the concept of it, I know you are supposed to make money by posting and answering but my question is how much do you make from that? I am just looking to make a bit of extra cash for our new arrival so we can get him some nice things :-) Also how do you add your paypal account? I read the FAQ but I couldn't figure it out lol. Do you also get paid for adding pictures etc. I have no idea! Thanks for the answers.
