Gas prices ever going to go down?

So i'm not an expert in the economy but do you think that the gas price in the economy will ever go down? It just went up again today and it's really hitting us hard. Every time i want to go somewhere i have to think twice because of the gas price. what are you comments on this?

I don't believe the gas prices will go down until we get a new president, but then again they might not then either. All we can do is hope they make a change in something. Its not only gas thats going up its everything we need to survive and knowing some people just make enough to get by now as it is.

i'm not sure they will every go down. my mom heard on the news that they expect gas prices to go up to $7.00 or more a gallon by 2010. which sucks for us because we were going to drive to florida that year to take the kids to disney. gas may not go down but i'm really hoping that they figure out other ways for us to have fuel.
