well ask your self do you still love him? Do you still feel the same for him as you have before? Talk to him let him know how you feel. That may help

Don't confuse love with companionship. A lot of times, people are unwilling to let go not because they still love that person, but because they are used to having someone beside them and they are afraid of being alone. Do ask yourself which one are you? Do you still love him? or Do you just need someone to hold hands with/to go out with? I do not know what are the problems you are facing, but if the problems are just small problems, then I see no problem with continuing. However, if the problems involved infidelity or third party, then I think it should just end as soon as possible. There's no point in wasting each other's time.

I was going through the same thing with my boyfriend/now my hubby.... before we got married. My grandmother used to tell me that a relationship is not something to play around with and you always have to keep trying. there is something in your head telling you either to walk away right now or to put up a fight for the one you love and only you can answer that. Like i said i had a really rough time figuring that out but i made the choice to fight and am glad i did. In your heart ask if you are deeply inlove with him and wish to have it work out or maybe you just need your space to think! Hope this helps

I guess it depends on what the problems are. If people are not willing to meet half way then there's no hope. Get some help if you want to repair it.
