Nubble Lighthouse

My family took a trip to Maine for our first time together. My wife loves lighthouses and she wanted to visit one of the most photographed lighthouse. We visited "Nubble Lighthouse". The weather was bad but we got to see the light on and hear the horn which added to the mystery of this lighthouse.
Have you visited Nubble or any of the other lighthouses in Maine? Do you find them mysterious, inspiring or anything else? Do you like to photograph them?

i like lighthouses too! i collect them. i have only been to one lighthouse so far. it is on hunting island in south carolina. i'm not sure what the name of the lighthouse is if it has one. i've never been to maine. i would like to go there and see the lighthouses. that is so cool you go to see the light and hear the horn. hopefully someday my husband and i will be able to travel and see these things together.
